Every credential on this site is independently verifiable. This page lists each one with the registry that confirms it and how to check.

I publish this because the case for choosing a clinician should rest on something checkable, and because credential claims in this field are frequently vague. Nothing here requires taking my word for it.

Identifiers

Medical licensure

On the Florida credential specifically: this is a Registered Out-of-State Telehealth Provider registration under section 456.47, Florida Statutes — not a Florida medical license. Florida issues no license under this pathway. It permits telehealth to patients located in Florida and does not permit in-person care in Florida. My full medical licenses are New York, Virginia, and Montana. Detail here.

State verification portals use form-based search rather than direct links, so the instructions above are the route. There is no permanent URL for an individual licensee on any of these systems.

Board certification

American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology:

• Adult Psychiatry — certified 2015
• Child & Adolescent Psychiatry — certified 2016

Child and adolescent psychiatry is a subspecialty requiring two additional fellowship years and a separate board examination beyond general psychiatry residency. A substantial share of clinicians prescribing psychiatric medication to children have not completed it — it's a fair thing to check on anyone, including me.

Training

A note on how I describe these: psychoanalytic psychotherapy training is not the same as certification as a psychoanalyst, and I don't claim the latter. My MGH training is described as MGH first, because "Harvard trained" without qualification reads as a Harvard Medical School degree or Harvard residency, which is a different claim than the one I'm making.
